Sun City Vistoso in Oro Valley Arizona lies just a few minutes Northwest of Tucson. Sun City was built in the mid 1980's to the mid 1990's. Sun City is close to all Oro Valley Shopping & Dining and just a couple minutes from the new Or Valley Hospital.
Sun City Vistoso is one of four large Tucson Retirement Communities and has the most structured activities available to the residents than any of the others. They have the Sun City Vistoso Golf Course, a beautiful community center which has a huge community pool and a large exercise room. There are also a couple of large ballrooms and many small meeting rooms which are used for various activities. If you have a hobby or an interest, they almost certainly have a club for it.
Sun City Vistoso is a close knit community with lot of friendly people and lots things to do. People living in Sun City seem to just love it. It is a very friendly group and they welcome newcomers with open arms. If you are looking for a Retirement Community in Tucson, this is a pretty good one!
Homes in Sun City Vistoso tend to be a little on the small side with very few homes over 3 bedrooms or 2600 square feet or so. The most popular size Sun City Home is usually a 2 bedroom with a den in the 1400 to 2400 foot range.
